Pool opens when weather is sunny & 65 degrees or higher at 12:00 pm,
if overcast conditions exist we’ll open when temp hits 70 degrees.
Opening night – Friday, May 26, 2017 at 6 pm, closing at 8:30
Regular pool hours begin on Saturday, May 27, 2017
Annual closing is Sept. 4, 2017 at 6pm
Regular Hours of Operation
The pool is open from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday with the exception of Friday when our closing time is extended to 10:00 p.m. at the discretion of the pool manager. Sunday morning “adults only” swimming 11:00 a.m. – noon. The pool may be closed for maintenance operations, health conditions, weather, or any reason as determined by our General Manager.
Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., the pool is reserved for swim team use. On lesson days, the pool is used from 10:45 until 11:45.
Pool will close at 3:00 on days we host Swim meets.
The pool will be open when sunny and 65 degrees or above. If overcast, cloudy, and/or showering we will not open unless the outside temperature is 70 degrees & above.
During inclement weather, our 434-8441 phone line will be answered by our answering machine with a message regarding the closing and check our FB page. If the bad weather passes BEFORE 7 p.m., the pool will re-open, however the pool will not re-open after 7 p.m. regardless of the change in weather. Please remember that time will be needed to assemble adequate staffing when re-opening the pool.
For liability purposes, the pool will NOT be kept open for scheduled parties if inclement weather has caused the pool premises to be cleared.
The Board of Directors may designate other closing times for special events. Notification will be posted in advance. These may include swim meets hosted by Oak Creek and social events.
A ten (10) minute rest period shall follow each fifty-minute period of free swimming. Only adults over 18 yrs. of age are permitted to swim during the rest periods and babies IN ARMS of adults. For the enjoyment of our adults, no children using floaties are permitted in the pool during rest period. The pool manager may give children their yellow card test during rest period. Those under the age of 18 must remain one concrete block away from the perimeter of the pool. Rest periods may be extended at the discretion of the manager.
